Jakmar Computing was founded with a straightforward goal: to provide friendly, stress-free IT services wherever people need them. I’ve been fascinated with computers from an early age – by the time I was 13, I was already helping family and neighbors solve electronics and IT issues. Over the course of five years, I honed my skills in various brick-and-mortar computer repair shops, but I soon realized that many customers simply don’t have the time or the means to bring their devices in for service.
During my time in these shops, I also observed questionable practices— like pushing customers to buy new hardware at high markups, selling unnecessary services, or taking an unprofessional approach to repairs. Those tactics clashed with my personal values and commitment to honesty. Now, with over 20 years of experience, I’m proud to run Jakmar Computing in a way that puts integrity and customer satisfaction first.

I’m a perfectionist, so I never take shortcuts, and I certainly don’t believe in pushing clients to buy new equipment if a repair makes more sense.
